APP’s pulpwood suppliers have gone through a robust SERA (Supplier Evaluation and Risk Assessment) process to ensure that the pulpwood we source originate from responsibly managed plantations. All our pulpwood suppliers are verified under PEFC (Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification) scheme and certified with PHPL - VLK (SVLK, Timber Legality Verification System).

Long-term pulpwood suppliers

APP Indonesia Long-term Pulpwood Suppliers = Pulpwood suppliers who supply exclusively to APP Indonesia, under a long-term contract period in compliance with APP Policy, laws and/or regulations and certification requirements.

Community Forest

Forests owned or managed by people/community, on private, customary lands, state land, or state forest areas.  

As of the present, the following community forests supply to APP’s Indonesia operations:

  • Maju Jaya Laksamana, with total area of 659.77 Ha (Riau)
  • Sepakat Jaya Mandiri Bersama, with total area of 1,180.55 ha (Riau)
  • Tuah Abad Makmur, with total area of 844 ha (Riau)
  • Pulau Muda Sejahtera, with total area of 597 ha (Riau)
  • Mengkiang Lestari, with total area of 300 ha (West Kalimantan)
  • Sekayam Jaya Mandiri, with total area of 429.48 ha (West Kalimantan)
  • Musi Maju Jaya, with total area of 1,746 ha (South Sumatra)
  • Koperasi Negeri Bersama Maju Jaya with total area of 894,97 ha (Riau)
